The only thing that might help is offer the option to grade the questions as you take them vs waiting until the end. This web site is great and very much needed for anyone seriously thinking of taking the tests. It allows you to take the test over and over. By doing so, it reveals where you need to focus your extra studies on.

| I just wanted to give a quick thanks for having such a great web site. I had been laboring for months studying to take the test for my GROL license when I came upon your site. Once I started preparing, using your practice test, I became confident enough to take the test in less than a months time.. | Great site! Cannot be beat for the price. Recently passed elements 1, 3, 7, & 9 for GMDSS O/M. Rather than pay someone else $400.00 to & 1,000.00 for their supposedly guaranteed passing of FCC exams....do this:
1. Download the current question pools from FCC.GOV
2. Study the material
3. Pay the fee for access Joe's sample tests and take them until you consistently score %90 on his tests.
4. Find a COLEM in your area.
5. Take and pass the tests.
If you follow the aforementioned procedures you will pass! GUARANTEED!!!! AND...YOU WILL SAVE MAJOR $$$$!!!!

| I was studying the GROL manual for about 5 days before I signed up for the testing on this site. After 8 days of practice I took and passed certification for GROL, GMDSS Maintainer, and the Radar Endorsement. Element 1 (91.7%), Element 3 (92.1 %), Element 8 ( 96.7%), and Element 9 (90%). E-9 I picked up since it was very similar to parts of 1 and 3. It ws suggested to me by a prospective employer that I should look into getting my GROL. Three weeks later I called to tell them I had it. This site was helpful and for only $10 it was worth it. The site is useful in helping when there are problems with the question or with the answer in the FCC pool. I remember at least one question I had on my cert tests I put the answer the FCC was asking for and not the correct answer which gave me the points for the test. 25 years in electronics and pulsed radar building, troubleshooting, and repairing from 100 MHz to 18 GHz and 35 GHz was a definate help. I would recommend this site to anyone interested in taking the tests. To those that don't know, ETA International will roll over GROL and Radar Endorsement at least until the end of 2006 for a journeyman's license in each. | Study material is harder to come by for GMDSS. I used "GMDSS : A study guide for Global Maritime Distress Safety System" available on Amazon.
